BREATHWORK
FACILITATOR TRAINING
A one-year hybrid training, online and in person, leading to Certified Facilitator status.
Across nine months of live teaching, supervised practice, and in‑person assessment, followed by three months of post‑qualification supervision, you’ll move from “using breath techniques” to understanding breath as a precise, integrative modality that threads through everything you already do. You’ll be held in an intimate cohort, guided by faculty with years of frontline experience, as you learn the science of breath, become the kind of practitioner who can sit with complexity, and develop the architecture and confidence to facilitate Conscious Connected Breathwork safely with both individuals and groups.
Why we insist on small cohorts
Breathwork is unregulated, the absence of a regulatory council creates an absence in accountability, leaving no one to check whether a training programme is safe or coherent before it sends facilitators into rooms with people in altered states. This renders the modality vulnerable: schools offering short courses, high-volume cohorts, revenue over reverence.
NV School keeps cohorts small by design. The standard we set — every student seen, developed, held to excellence — is protected by intimate cohorts, where full attunement to each student stays possible.
Who This Training Is For
This training is for practitioners already working with others — and for those who understand breath as a modality of significance.
It is equally for those seeking a change in direction, who feel called toward this work whether or not they yet have a professional foothold in it. If you sense that talking, movement, and therapy alone have taken your work as far as they can — and you feel pulled towards the deeper terrains of breath, physiology, and nervous-system work — this is the container built to meet that terrain with precision rather than improvisation.
YOU'LL BE AT HOME HERE IF:
- You want to become a facilitator within the breathwork or healing space and want your foundation to be rigorous, ethical, and science‑grounded.
-
You are a therapist, coach, counsellor, nutritionist, yoga teacher, bodyworker, therapist, support worker or wellness professional and know your clients’ patterns keep repeating despite insight.
-
You work with people who are vulnerable and feel a clear responsibility not to experiment with techniques learned in fragments from short courses and weekends.
-
You facilitate groups and want to include Conscious Connected Breathwork in ways that are deeply safe, trauma‑aware, and held with responsibility.
-
You sense that the next evolution of your practice isn’t another framework, but integration, breath and body woven into everything you already do.
Delivery & Support
Seminars are delivered bi‑weekly by our faculty of teachers. Midway through the year, the cohort comes together for a full day of in‑person training, before closing at around nine months with the In‑Person Qualifying Assessment: five days in which each facilitator delivers a full breathwork session to their cohort and mentors.
We understand that learning doesn’t end at qualification. For three months following graduation, we support your transition into the field with group supervision sessions, so the work you’ve learned has space to embed into your practice and the people you serve.
SPEAK TO THE TEAM
Our Faculty
NV School is held by practitioners who have spent years in real rooms with real bodies. The core faculty blends breath science, somatic practice, trauma work, and compassionate inquiry, so you’re apprenticing to people who work daily with nervous‑system change, not just teaching it.
MEET EVERYONE ON THE TEAM
BY THE END OF THE YEAR, YOU'LL HAVE MORE THAN A CERTIFICATE
You’ll have a lived, embodied skill set in working with breath as a precise, integrative modality. You’ll understand what you’re inviting the nervous system into, how to read breath and sensation in real time, and how to hold both intensity and quiet with a level of presence that lets your clients feel different in their own bodies, not just think differently about their lives.
YOU WILL BE ABLE TO:
Facilitate Conscious Connected Breathwork sessions, one‑to‑one and in groups, grounded in breath science, trauma‑informed practice, and clear ethics.
Read unconscious breathing patterns as a doorway into beliefs, perceptions, and coping mechanisms, and use breath inquiry to support meaningful change.
Work with altered states and deep emotional processing in ways that centre pacing, consent, and integration, rather than spectacle.
Weave breath and nervous‑system work into your existing modality so that your sessions touch the places words can’t reach, without overwhelming the system that’s been protecting them.
Stand in your practice as someone who is equipped, ethically, scientifically, and somatically, to hold this level of work.
